What to Expect During Your First Visit
Your first visit will probably be your longest visit as you will complete all necessary paperwork, receive a comprehensive examination, and receive the recommended treatment. We understand and value your time and family finances so at JayMac Chiropractic we hit the ground running with appropriate treatments on day one. We pride ourselves on how thorough our examinations are. Dr Jason will take the time to listen to your medical history and what your chief complaints are. During the examination, Dr Jason will perform a variety of orthopedic exams that are designed to reproduce the pain and isolate the cause of your discomfort. All treatments and examinations are performed to your tolerance level. Additionally, range of motion, joint play, and functionality will be assessed. All examinations, assessments, and treatments are done by hand. Dr Jason is able to palpate and detect variations in bodily tissues throughout the body. After identifying the cause of your discomfort, Dr Jason will make treatment recommendations to promote healing and provide the relief you seek.
In addition to the above examinations you may be required to obtain additional diagnostic imaging (i.e. X-ray's, MRI's, CT scans, Ultrasound, etc). This additional imaging will need to be obtained from outside imaging centers as we do not have diagnostic imaging capabilities at this time. Most patients will not require this additional imaging prior to care, however, patients who have suffered a major injury like a motor vehicle accident will need to obtain these prior to coming into the office for examination and treatment. We can guide you through this process.
